Dr. Meghan Harris graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology. She continued her education at Florida International University where she obtained a second Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, and graduated Summa Cum Laude as the co-Valedictorian of her class. Dr. Harris worked as a nurse in Miami before moving to Tampa for medical school. She completed medical school, Internal Medicine residency and Infectious Diseases fellowship at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases.
Dr. Harris is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Infectious Diseases Society of America. Her interests include: care of critically ill patients, HIV management and antimicrobial stewardship. She joined Infectious Disease Associates of Tampa Bay in 2016.
