Dr. Matthew Thomas is board certified in general psychiatry as well as child and adolescent psychiatry. He earned his MD degree from the University of Kansas, completed his general psychiatry residency at Baylor College and became Chief Resident during his fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Brown University. Dr. Thomas is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Florida State University College of Medicine. He is the Chairman of Psychiatry at Sarasota Memorial Hospital and treats children, adolescents, adults and families.
