Who can submit an idea?
All non-managers at CAN, CAN Pharmacies, Huntridge Family Clinic, and Midland Medical Center are invited to share their innovative ideas through this submission form. Managers and Directors are encouraged to support and provide guidance to their teams but are not eligible to submit ideas directly.

There are two ways to submit an idea.
1. If you work for CAN Community Health, you can submit using the electronic submission portal. Please reach out if you need the link.
2. If you work for any other CAN-related organization, you can submit using the PDF form by emailing it to Eddie at emonroy@cancommunityhealth.org
At a minimum, the Project Manager, Two Directors, and the CEO will review your submission.
If your submission qualifies for the full panel review, it will be reviewed by all senior directors and/or relevant leaders for your organization for CAN contracted/affiliated organization.
On a weekly basis, the Project Manager will notify participants of receipt of their submissions.
The three highest-scoring ideas will be announced in April.

All ideas are encouraged to be submitted, no matter their potential impact on the entire company.
1. All submissions will be reviewed by two directors using a standard review tool; the submissions with a qualifying score will advance to a full panel review.
2. Full panel review consists of all Senior Directors using the standard grading tool and scale. Based on these scores, the senior directors will meet and convene to finalize the top ideas.
All submissions will be reviewed using the following criteria: resources needed, time required, cost of the solution, impact on the problem, financial benefit, risk, creativity, and overall benefit to the company.

This program is exclusively for submitting ideas and should not be used for concerns or complaints related to personnel. For such matters, please utilize the Department of People & Culture.

About the Program
The CAN Innovate for Impact Program is a formal initiative dedicated to enhancing our company through employee-driven improvements and recommendations. We invite all non-managerial employees to contribute their innovative ideas by completing the CAN Innovate for Impact Submission Form. Our commitment is to carefully evaluate each submission through a comprehensive review process led by a panel of directors and the CEO.
The most promising ideas selected through this process will be incorporated into CAN, with the top three contributors receiving recognition and incentives for their outstanding contributions. Furthermore, those whose ideas are chosen for implementation will have the unique opportunity to collaborate closely with the relevant Director during the project planning and implementation stages.
We value the creativity and expertise of our employees, and this program aims to foster a culture of continuous improvement while recognizing and rewarding exceptional contributions.
Incentives:
1st Place – $5,000
2nd Place – $3,750
3rd Place – $2,500
Selection Criteria:
Projects will be evaluated based on eight (8) criteria: resources needed, time required, cost of the solution, impact on the problem, financial benefit, risk, creativity, and overall benefit to the company.
