Clark Woodruff joined the CAN Community Health leadership team in 2021, filling the key role of Vice President of Information Technology. He brings in over 25 years of IT experience in Healthcare, Insurance and Manufacturing. He is a native of Connecticut and recently relocated to Florida. In his role, Clark is accountable for directing the information and data integrity for the health center and for all IT functions. This includes the data center, technical services, help desk, communication networks (voice and data), and computer program development. In total, Clark spanning years of service in IT and management experience including expertise in:
Multi-project management.
Customer relationship management.
System and application development, implementation and conversions.
Budget management.
Project planning and implementation.
Team development and training.
Clark’s extensive skills and experience have had a significant, positive impacts for the past organization that he served. He has developed, implemented and managed a complete overhaul of the computer technologies, bringing in the latest and most efficient systems to significantly improve data connections. Known to leverage a wealth of expertise to influence operational performances, while maximizing productivity, and excellent organizational skills. He has overhauled entire IT Infrastructure to improve patient service by facilitating more efficient care and better communication. He lead a team to became one of the first Federally Qualified Health Centers in the country to have an integrated EHR, encompassing internal medicine, dental and behavioral health.
When Clark is not at work, he’ll most likely be outside, either teeing off at one of his favorite golf courses, putting his landscaping skills to work and watching NY Mets baseball.
He is married to his wife, Kris, and spends time with their pug and french bulldog.
Clark received his B.S. degree in Business Management from Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, Connecticut, and his M.B.A. in Computer and Information Science from the University of New Haven.
